In response: a page dedicated to Lifestyle Contracts.     Contracts are agreements even if only for a scene, even if only verbal meetings of the mind. While Lifestyle contracts may not be legally binding, they are useful as an agreement in spirit and to help define what expectations are on each side. Back in 2000 a friend of mine on the East coast was considering working with a Dominant and we discussed at length, concerns for terms of involvement. From that came a contract she offered. I've included a version of it here. - Vanilla-Not Agreement - It is modified from the one Molly and Phillip offered in Screw the Roses.      In a seminar I attended in 2002, BDSM author and publisher Race Bannon spoke about contracts. He suggested that they are best in a new relationship if they are for short terms and renewable. If they don't go into pages upon pages of specific details but cover generally what is expected.      Agreements between people should be about what those two people decide will work for themselves. I often suggest people sit down and write what they want, desire, require, and will not tolerate, then work out an agreement from those lists. So what is offered here is just a peek into other peoples notions of living and cooperating.     This table and the comments were first inspired by a respected Texas Lifestyle couple Master Jim / slave marsha, after they spoke to my local community about contracts back in the late 90's. Master Jim and slave marsha served as International Master and slave 2002, and have been speaking around the country in that capacity.
